OrCAD® Capture® CIS is composed of all the features of OrCAD Capture enhanced with powerful functionality for searching and modification of component information (CIS). OrCAD Capture CIS (or OrCAD Capture CIS Option) integrates OrCAD Capture schematic design system with functionality for managing component information. The system is designed to reduce the time to search for components in the existing component database, manually update the information and attributes about the components and maintaining component data. For example components can be searched with respect to electrical parameters.
