MakeCAP
Allows engineers working with OrCAD Capture schematic to easily embed the high-speed properties needed to drive the Cadence Allegro constraint driven flow.
MakeCAP expands your capability to drive the constraint-driven Allegro property flow from Capture while preserving the default built-in bidirectional forward and backward flow between Capture and Allegro.
MakeCAP uses a new, unique data organizing paradigm, a database-linked spreadsheet view. All cells tie to the Capture schematic Component and Netlist database. Engineers select from the available data objects for assigning values. Multiple objects can be selected using wildcard searches and pick lists. Entries are error-free and all Property Editor syntax is perfectly defined.
MakeCAP uses the Capture DSN schematic file as input and the Capture program is not required for use. If Capture is present, MakeCAP cross-probes so objects selected in MakeCAP are highlighted in the Capture program. Using the Capture database as source, MakeCAP allows the creation of PinPairs for complex Propagation Timing properties in the Capture Property Editor.
